WHAT IS EXAMINATION?

An examination is to assess the performance of somebody or something to look at it carefully, check or know about performance of a thing or test.

WHAT IS ENTRANCE EXAMINTION?

Entrance examination is an examination conducted by many educational institutes that is use to select student for admission. These exams may be administered at any level of education from primary to a higher education, although they are more common at higher levels (Wikipedia.org)

WHAT IS WEB BASED EXAMINATION?

Web based examination also refers to as computer based examination or electronic examination simplify the process by which examination are delivered, taken and scored electronically. It entails questions being deployed onto computer workstations (intranet and internet) and candidates answering the questions on the computer.

The process of writing is thus completely paperless. It is sometimes referred to as CBT (Computer-Based Testing) or (Computer-Based Assessment). This testing method is now being extensively used in many parts of the world today. The use of e-exam simplifies the entire testing cycle, including generation, execution, evaluation, presentation and archiving. This simplification saves time and money while improving reliability. WHAT IS WEB APPLICATION

Web application is an application program that is stored on a remote server and delivered over the network or internet through a browser interface (techtarget.com). It is also any program that is accessed over a network connection using HTTP, rather than existing within a device’s memory. Web based application often run inside a web browser.

However, web-based applications also may be client-based, where a small part of the program is downloaded to a user desktop, but processing is done over the internet on an external server. Web based application is also knows as Web Apps.
